Diese Kette habe ich im Original auf der Messe in Stuttgart gesehen. Sie ist einfach aber trotzdem wirkungsvoll. Die Button Beads sind ziemlich teuer und so habe ich dort gleich bei einem Sonderangebot zugegriffen. Die Menge war zwar knapp bemessen, aber zur Not kann man ja nachkaufen. Denkste. "Coral light" ist derzeit nicht zu bekommen und durch viel Ausschuss (30 % fehlende Löcher und unregelmäßige Oberflächen), musste ich mich von einer einfarbigen Kette verabschieden.***
 I saw the original of this chain at the trade fair in Stuttgart. It is simple but nevertheless effective. The button beads are quite expensive and so I immediately took them for a special offer. The quantity was tight, but in case of need one can buy more. No chance. "Coral light" is currently not available and due to a lot of rejects (30% missing holes and irregular surfaces), I had to say goodbye to a monochrome chain.


So kaufte ich grüne Button Beads (Inspiration Frühlingsblüte - es war Anfang Mai). Im Internet sah das gut aus, real passte die Farbe nicht.***
So I bought green button beads (inspiration spring blossom - it was early May). It looked good on the internet, but the real colour didn't fit.

Also kaufte ich Coral dark - ging auch nicht.***

 Im August wollte ich endlich fertig werden und habe die beiden nachgekauften Farben probehalber zu dem bereits gefädelten Stück gelegt um mich für eine von beiden zu entscheiden. Nachdem ich mehrmals daran vorbeigegangen bin und eine Nacht darüber geschlafen habe: "Eigentlich sieht das so gut aus, warum nehme ich nicht beide?" Ich denke durch drei Farben wirkt der Kontrast nicht so hart wie mit zwei.***
 In August I finally wanted to finish the project and put the two bought colours to the already threaded piece for a test and the decision for one of them. After I walked past it several times and slept over it one night: "Actually it looks good, why don't I take both?" I think that with three colours the contrast is not as hard as with two.

Beim Weiterfädeln hat sich die Kette verdreht, so daß ein Stück wie eine gerade Linie aussah. Das hat mich dann inspiriert eine Röhre zur Variation zu fädeln.***
While threading the chain was twisted, so that a piece looked like a straight line. That inspired me to thread a tube for variation.

 Änderung zur Anleitung: 5er-Reihen, rechts und links 11er, hier nach 16 Reports zum Kreis
 geschlossen.***
 Change to manual: 5 Beads in a row, right and left Roc11, after 16 reports closed to circle.

Ein ganz schöner Unterschied zu der geplanten Kette - nicht wahr? (Obwohl, sie kann auch einfarbig mit dem Verschluss nach hinten getragen werden, die Farbübergänge liegen wirklich günstig.) ***
Quite a difference to the planned chain - isn't it? (Although, it can also be worn monochrome with the clasp to the back.)
