PP 28/S90 (Drina Victoria) - V-Collier + Armband

To Drina Victoria I had the idea of a V-shaped necklace. The rivioli were supposed to be in the colours of currants, but I had no idea for the basic colour of the necklace. No gold, silver is too hard..., after months of deliberation I decided to go for green to finally start threading.

Now the Rivoli are ready and a new problem arises: I had imagined the necklace in a clear look. The Rivoli have turned out great, but they look very luxuriant and need a different frame, which means that now I'm not only back at the beginning with the necklace, but I've added a new project.***

Zu Drina Victoria hatte ich die Idee eines V-förmigen Colliers. Die Rivoli sollten in den Farben von Johannisbeeren sein, aber für die Grundfarbe der Kette hatte ich einfach keine Idee. Kein Gold, Silber ist zu hart..., nach Monaten der Überlegung habe ich mich dann einfach mal für Grün entschieden um endlich mit dem Fädeln beginnen zu können.

Nun sind die Rivoli gefasst und es ergibt sich ein neues Problem: Ich hatte mir die Kette schnörkellos vorgestellt. Die Rivoli sind toll geworden, wirken aber sehr üppig und brauchen einen anderen Rahmen.Das heisst, nun bin ich mit dem Collier nicht nur wieder am Anfang, sondern habe noch ein neues Projekt hinzubekommen.

Welle Nr. 218 - Collier

 I liked the bracelet so much that I decided to make a necklace out of it. The difficulty is that it need a bend. I have changed the Inge Gielen tutoial as follows:

 1st basis
Row 8: the first element has 4 rocailles
Row 9: only two elements
Row 10: only two elements, the last one has 6 rocailles

2nd decoration
Only a row of rocailles is threaded, starting in row 8 and ending in row 9. ***

 Das Armband hat mir so gut gefallen, daß ich beschlossen habe, ein Collier daraus zu machen. Die Schwierigkeit dabei ist, daß es eine Biegung benötigt. Hierzu habe ich die Anleitung von Inge Gielen wie folgt geändert:

1. Grundlage
Reihe 8: das erste Element hat 4 Rocailles
Reihe 9: nur zwei Elemente
Reihe 10: nur zwei Elemente, das letzte hat 6 Rocailles

2. Verzierung
es wird nur eine Reihe mit Rocailles gefädelt, diese beginnt in Reihe 8 und endet in Reihe 9
